I have over 20 years in the Social Service field and began my career developing programs for the Boys & Girls Club of Glen Cove. I took a great interest in focusing on the needs of underserved youth and was able to provide counseling and obtain necessary funding in order to run much needed programs.
I have over 10 years as a Clinical Social Worker counseling patients in a number of areas. I received psychiatric training at Zucker Hillside Hospital which is part of the LIJ Health System. I worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker for North Shore University Hospital at Syosset. While there, I provided crisis intervention, marital counseling, family therapy, group therapy and individual counseling.
Upon leaving NSUH at Syosset I worked at the Nassau Suffolk Mental Health Service (HIP Mental Health Center) in Woodbury NY. I provided outpatient treatment to adolescents and adults specializing in marital treatment. I remained there until the facility closed in 2008 and am now in private practice where I devote my time to improving the lives of my patients through therapy.
I provide individual, family, group and couple counseling in a nonjudgmental and impartial setting.
